Thomas Haupt is a guitarist and composer based in Berkeley, California, whose music draws from modern jazz, funk, soul, and groove-oriented improvisation.
He studied jazz guitar at the University of Colorado and spent years performing, touring internationally, recording, and teaching music throughout Colorado, Boston, and the New York City area.
Alongside his musical career, Haupt pursued medicine and is now an otolaryngology–head and neck surgeon. He is returning to the stage with original material and a renewed focus on live organ-jazz performance and improvisation.
